Position paper Nordic Perspectives on Advancing the Savings and Investment Union

The Swedish Securities Markets Association has in collaboration with Nasdaq, Investor, Nordea, EQT, Avanza, Nordnet, Swedbank, Danske Bank, ImpactEurope, and Stockholm Chamber of Commerce contributed to a position paper including a number of recommendations for the EU’s continued efforts within the SIU from a Nordic perspective.

As the position paper highlights, a strong SIU is critical to mobilize Europe’s vast savings. As the EU confronts an increasingly challenging global landscape, with intensifying technological rivalry and heightened geopolitical tensions, building a deeper and more efficient capital market is not just desirable, it is essential.
